There are SO many things I’m going to take away from my time with Level TEN. I am no longer afraid to enjoy my life. I learned that I can (and should) enjoy my life and eat cake at the wedding, have pie at Thanksgiving, enjoy a date night dessert etc. This still means I am a healthy human being. I used to think those things were mutually exclusive, but in order to be healthy, you have to learn balance and so many other things that make up what it means to be “healthy.” I knew these things could coexist before my Level TEN experience, but it never truly sunk in until I spent months with my coach putting this mindset into practice. Another huge takeaway is that I have improved at reading my body and knowing what it needs to perform and feel better. I also don’t associate certain foods, or the amount of food, with my body or a body type. For example, when I began my reverse dieting phase early on in my coaching experience, I was anxious that I was going to gain a lot of weight due to the increase in food. I was concerned about my body changing and did not like the idea of eating much more than I had. I gained so much knowledge about how to take care of my body and build strength. For example, not undermining the significance of good sleep, a balanced diet, stress management, activity, drinking water, etc. Altogether, I feel confident that I can take the things I learned from working with Level TEN and apply them to my life and easily continue towards my goals.

Coach John was my coach, and he was absolutely incredible. I cannot even describe just how wonderful of a coach he was for me. He was so kind, informative, encouraging, attentive, and most of all, he made me feel 100% comfortable to be myself and be vulnerable with him throughout this journey. I liked how it truly felt like we were a team; John was an excellent listener and modified plans based on seasons or events in my life, and any concerns that I had regarding my protocol. I am incredibly critical of myself, so it was awesome to have John as my coach, as he made me feel so encouraged every check-in, reminded me that I was doing well, and reminded me that we are all human. John is a special person, and I am grateful to have been coached by him!
